Assemblyman Brian and Lauren Kolb Chair the 2019 United Way Campaign
United Way of Ontario County has named Brian and Lauren Kolb of Canandaigua as the 2019 Campaign Co-Chairs.
Lauren Kolb, CWS, is a senior vice president and senior wealth advisor with Tompkins Financial Advisors. She is a longtime United Way supporter and Women’s Leadership Council Member and has supported numerous organizations, including the Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce, Mercy Flight Central, Ontario Yates Fund for Women and Girls, Professional Women of the Finger Lakes, and United Way of Ontario and Monroe County.
Brian M. Kolb was first elected to the New York State Assembly in 2000, and for the past 10 years has served as Assembly Minority Leader. He is currently a member of the Honeoye Chapter of the Sons of the American Legion, Ontario Charities Classic Board of Directors, the Ontario ARC Advisory Board, the New York Farm Bureau, and is a Notary Public. He previously served as supervisor for the town of Richmond, chairman of Leadership Rochester’s board of directors and as a member of the Ontario County Revolving Loan Fund Committee, the Ontario County Board of Supervisors and the New York State Public Authorities Control Board.
The United Way of Ontario County kicks off the campaign this spring with a “Let’s Help Our Community Together” theme. Donations to the Community Fund will directly support programs and services that are addressing critical needs in health, education, and financial stability for all in Ontario County. The annual Day of Caring and Food Drive is scheduled for Thursday, May 16, followed by the Volunteer Celebration on Thursday, June 20 and annual Golf Tournament at Ravenwood Golf Club on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
