United Way of Ontario County is pleased to announce a special mini grant process.  We are now accepting applications from organizations that currently have a program that follows the funding priorities of Health, Education or Economic Mobility.  Please read through the information provided below with guidelines and the timetable.  Only completed applications received by the deadline will be accepted.

The purpose of the mini grant process is to provide a mechanism for funding outside the normal allocation process in order to remain responsive to agency and community needs.

Grant Amounts:   No grant will exceed $3,000.

Grant Focus:       Grants will only be awarded for critical agency needs that are one-time in nature for equipment or                               other items in support of your program.

                           A critical need does not include a contribution to a capital campaign or deficit funding.

Grant Eligibility:  This special process is open to 501c(3) human services organizations serving residents in Ontario                                County, New York.

Applications will be reviewed in March.  Board approval and notification will follow. All grants awarded must be expended and invoices submitted to United Way for reimbursement to grantee by December 31, 2020.
